Entwined Fates

 I always thought I’d fly through life with very few problems; boy was I wrong. I never knew I would start a journey to save the world but I guess no one really does. Now my friends and I are surrounded by our enemies in an empty parking lot and can’t escape. Would you believe that it’s all my fault for that matter, I certainly can't. The flicker light of the lamppost above us is the only thing protecting us at this moment and not for long. "Why did you have to make them angry, What the hell is wrong with you?" The masculine voice next to me shouted behind him " Alight I'll admit.. I might've f****d up, BUT you're just as much to blame for this mess as i am." Another male voice shouted back Their bantering was causing the dull ache in my head to become much worse.  ~Think Tide think, How did this happen, the lady in shop said we had the answer we just didn't know it. When did this start?~ My mind went silent as it thought about the events prior to today. Then it hit me. ~Melina's party, 4th of July...God damn it, I knew she was a b***h I didn't know she was that much of one though~ "Tide not to rush you, but I think this would be great time for sparkly fingers or something or we might all die" "Shut up that is not helping her" I sighed as the bantering of my friends continued " Will you both be quiet and let me think or I will kick you out of this circle of light, I will do it and I will not regret it" Both men went silent at that idea and I had some peace, minus the gurgling growls surrounding us. ~Okay why is Melina important, come on think Why?~
