The office phone rang.
Richard received the frantic call, Jenny yelling at the top of her voice. He could hear screams from the background.
"Sir, please get here! Your wife is losing it!" she cried.
"What! What happened?" He stood from the chair, astonished by the sudden news.
"I went to her room to serve her breakfast when she attacked me with a knife."
"Oh God! With a knife? Why would she do that?"
"Because I took Alyssa to school. She says I want to kill her daughter just like I killed Ray!"
"Where is Amber now?"
"I managed to escape from the room. I locked her up. She's there swearing to kill me. I wanted to call the police but I decided to call you first, sir! I think you'll be able to cool her down."
"On my way!" he hang up, dashing out of his office.
