The hospital was filled up with doctors and nurses scampering from corner to corner in the hallways. Patients sat at the benches at the reception, waiting for guidance from the medical personnel.
Nina and her mother sailed past the patients straight to the reception area. Her mother was immediately directed to her doctor, whom she had an appointment with. She had escorted her mother for checkup, like she always did every time she had the day off. Her mother's condition was starting to improve and she looked much better and healthier than she did.
As her mother entered the doctor's office, she perched herself on the benches right next to other patients. She had carried a newspaper with her and she sank back as she read it.
