Silence swarmed the room after those words left his mouth, leaving me in my nervous state.
"Excuse me? Did you just say she's... pregnant?" James asked, being oddly calm.
"Yes." Tyler said, seemingly not phased by James' calmness.
"Unbelievable." James said as he started to laugh humorlessly.
"I'm scared." I whispered to Tyler, clutching onto his arm.
"Don't be scared, he's not going to hurt you."
"Okay, so you're telling me that OUR sister has something growing inside her?" James asked.
"Yup." Tyler replied.
James was silent for a moment which scared me more. I don't like how he's acting about this, he was always an overprotective brother to me. "She's pregnant." He said to himself.
