Kavira POV I watched Vorian as he sorted through his knives. They were old worn down and half missing, as if they'd seen too many battles and not enough care. A few slots in his case sat empty, a testament to time and blood. He sharpened the remaining blades in front of them, likely to rattle their nerves before the questioning began. It was probably an effective tactic. I’d never seen an interrogation before, not in person. Heard plenty, yes. But never stood this close to one. No sound came through the glass.
