When I arrived at the bar, Victor was already there, seated at a table on the terrace. Instead of being happy on his phone as I would have imagined finding him, he watched the crowd coming up the small street. When he saw me, he stood up and gave me a shy smile. He looked like a young man on his first date in his impeccably pressed sky blue shirt, his jeans and his hair brushed to the side, a little too polished for my taste.
