Chapter Four

Zacks POV

Before we arrived at the pack house I mind-linked the whole pack that we have some human guests coming over and everyone should make sure that the wolves are not seen roaming around , all and any kids who can transform aren’t in the common area either. I know I will have to tell her who we are and what we do before I can mark her but I can’t bring myself to do it now, I just want to get to know her better. I am also going to have to speak to the elders, having a human as my packs Luna is going to be a big deal, but I don’t care, I will step down if I have to. All I know is I want to be with my mate.

When we get to the pack house I am looking around making sure everything is ok , no wolves are in sight. Why am I so nervous? I am the Alpha for crying out loud, I need to stop acting like a virgin teenager talking to his first crush. Deep breaths in and out.

“This is a first , I am soo going enjoying this” my wolf Zeus says to me

“Shut up”

“You are acting like a virgin teenager, which you aren’t , I wonder what mate will have to say to that?” “Oh s**t, ok you are not helping at all” “stop whining and look who is coming your way” when I look up I see mum and dad coming our way. Mum is still the Luna of our pack until I find my mate. She gives me a funny look, I bet she knows that I found my mate , or atleast thinks I did, I mean we never bring humans to the pack house. This is one place we don’t have to hide who we are.

“Hi, I am Caroline and this is Damian, we are Zachariah’s parents” the are the only ones who call me by my name.

“Hi, I am Emily” “Betty” “I am Emma, nice you meet you”

I like her, you better treat her well and be careful she is going to have a hard time with all this, remember she wasn’t born into this My mum mind links me, how did you know? I asked you have the same puppy dog look when you look at her that your dad gets when he looks at me she says proudly.

“I will show you girls to around” I said and started heading inside. I show them the dinning hall and the living area on the ground floor, then we head up to the first floor where the offices are and show them where to find me or the guys if they need anything. Then we head up to the 5 floor which accommodates the alpha and his inner circle, the elders and in this case some very special guests, a couple of living areas, kitchen and a dining room. We all have our own houses but also have a room in the pack house for those busy days and nights. The second and Third floor is reserved for the families that choose to live in the pack house instead of their own places , kids and teenagers who are orphaned and elders who can’t live on their own and the Forth floor is for the guests who visits. The whole time i keep glancing at Emma , she seems fascinated by the whole place. I wonder what’s going thru her mind , specially when we were going towards my office and we passed the portraits of the Alpha wolves of the pack. I wish I could just ask her how she feels and what she is thinking but I don’t want to scare her away by being too forward, I am going to have to charm her first.

On the way to the rooms we run into my sister Tanya. “Hey Zack, won’t you introduce me to your friends?” She gave me a cheeky grin, I rolled my eyes at her and said “this is Emma , Emily and Betty; and this is my sister Tanya” “Hii” “Hii” “so where are you taking them?” “To show them their room” “oh! I can do that, I am sure you have more important things to do” “no, I don’t mind” “don’t be like that big brother, I won’t bite” I know she was teasing me , the whole pack knows I have been waiting for my mate and even thou we are keeping it down low for now , my inner circle and my parents know and can’t be happier for me, but knowing my sister she isn’t going to make it easy for me either.

“Fine” I said a bit disappointed to have to leave my mate but I know I will see her soon. “ the carnival starts at about 4 , we can all go together , meet us in that living room there, its the one with all the gadgets” I point at the direction of the living room. We have 2 areas , one for us young ones that’s into gaming and stuffs and the other for the elder who are more into less electronics.

I say bye to the girls and head to the office , time to get some work done
