That day, Elaine had just returned from a runaway show located out of town. She had left her house at midnight to catch the flight, went on with the preparation just as soon as she had arrived, and when the show started she had to run around in the back stage so she could make it in time for her next turn. "That's a good one girls," the event manager clapped, and they're off on their way. "I think I'll faint as soon I reach the hotel," the other model muttered. This is a big event, and instead of making the parts on three days, they decided to have them showed on the same day. Between each session, they only has an hour top to rest, get some nutrition and recharge before getting back on stage. "You wanna share a ride, Els?" she offered. Elaine shook her head. "It's fine," she smiled at her gratefully. "I got a plane to catch," Elaine smiled at her as she widen her eyes. "You're out of your mind, Elsie. Get some sleep on the cab, you won't get one at the airport. Anyways, I'm leaving," she waved, getting on her ride. Elaine too get on her cab. But she's preoccupied by the things on her phone the whole ride, unable to take a nap like how her friend had told her to. When she arrived, she went to the airport lounge, and let herself relax over a glass of wine. She typed on her phone until her boarding call, and went to enter her flight. When she landed, Ander's already there to pick her up and take her to the hotel she'd booked. She cleaned up and proceed on her way to a meeting. A man had been waiting for their arrival had smiled politely to Ander, almost ignoring Elaine. However, he'd sensed Elaine's aura, and realizes, the boss wouldn't be negotiating with him, himself, which means Elaine's the boss, and this man.. her assistant. "This way, ma'am," he points to her, taking her to their office. He let her look over everything, the people who are working, their ethics, and how they works. Some looked her way when she passed, but with Ander standing right by her side, as if blocking her out of everyone's view, nobody could tell who it is their boss leading into the the room. When they reached the meeting room, he passed Elaine a file to introspect while he alone had to run a brief presentation. Elaine reads the file with her flat face, and nodded from time to time as he mentioned a few points to her. "We're offered 50% acquisition, ma'am. The Stark Industries had taken a few smaller companies under their wing, and they'd now surpassed us in a small amount of time. I'd think it's worth considering, ma'am. They're offering quite a big price." Elaine thought about the prospect, and the opportunity looked quite promising. "How do you think?" Elaine asked him. "You owned good five teen percent. However, I can't compromise more than forty percent. Say, you'll offer him five percent, which in result forty-five percent for him. If he agrees, You could have the deal signed. And again, it's up to you to consider and to bargain." Elaine told him, closing the file and standing up to her feet. The man looked at Elaine stunned. It'd been years since she acquired the company and kept them from bankruptcy. He'd received numerous of orders from her, and her execution had made him think that she's a guy geek with a good money. But now he had met her, she had turned out to be a stunning young woman. Though she's using glasses, from the way she dresses had shown him that she's absolutely no geek. "Are you leaving already, ma-" "Miss, Just call me miss. I'm not that old yet," Elaine joked, making him stunned again. "I has other things to do. Just handle the matter here well, I trust your judgement," Elaine told him then left. Right on the front desk, she passed a guy who's about to enter, and his steps faltered. His eyes followed her until she disappeared, and he's convinced that he didn't see the wrong person. So, why is she here? Elaine looked at the time on her watch, and sighed. "Drop me at the hotel. And do you know any food I could find here?" Ander nodded and drove the car straight to a food vendor. He was about to ask one to go, but she'd jumped out of the car, and decided to eat in place. If someone recognizes her, she'd just have to cope with it. Her stomach has started to act up since the last thing she had on her stomach is a bit of airplane food along with mostly wine. "One soup please, mister," She nodded at the man, taking a vacant seat, and when the soup came, she immediately downed it. Ander looked at her, surprised that she didn't care if she get recognized, But the fact that she's enjoying her soup didn't surprise him. She has the habit on missing sleep, and during shows, she's unable to eat much to prevent herself from bloating. He frowned when he found two girls whispering, and trying to approach her. He's about to stop them when Elaine gave him an eye signal that it's fine. "I- I'm sorry, Elsie, I'm a big fan. Can we take a picture?" Elaine nodded, taking picture with the both of them, and signed on their phone case while grinning. "Do you happen to run around with permanent marker in your bag?" "Hey, we're design students. Were practically carrying the whole art store in our bag," the girl complained being teased as Elaine smiled. "I like using gouache," she blinked at them as she passed, passing a money bill to the shop owner, letting him keep the change. The two girls are ecstatic, and some who are too late to ask for her photograph could only take picture of her back. Elaine returned to her hotel, cleans, and then finally, she lies in bed. She looked at the clock and sighed, "no more dreams, please." She closed her eyes, and let sleep took her over. Her lack of sleep is piling up, and she slept wonderfully the whole night, unaware of the buzz that's spreading and shocking the internet. 270121
