After they have arrived in the hotel, they immediately checked in to their rooms and Ander leaves her to freshen up.
He waits patiently in the car and not long after, he found a capped figure dressed in all black entering the van.
"Why all black?" he raises his brow, wondering the mysterious looks when he found her even using a black mask.
"I don't feel like wearing anything else," she answers and he didn't dig further into it.
He drove towards the address she'd sent him, and looked to the rear view mirror. Although he couldn't observe her face, he's familiar with her posture, and it's obvious that she's tired.
He doesn't really understand what business she had on this little mission, when she's supposed to be resting, but he didn't ask her that.
As far as he's concerned, he knows that if she wanted him to know, she'd let him know even before he asked it.
The road is clear as it's at night, so it didn't took them long to arrive at their destination.
Ander looked at the building in front of them in confusion, wondering if he had taken them to the wrong place, or if she'd sent him the wrong address.
But just before he got to say a thing, she opened the door and went out.
"I'll be right back," she told him.
It's past midnight. Even the gates are locked, not to mention the building entrance, and the fact that it's probably empty.
He wonders what she's doing at what looked like an office building, but could only sit and wait patiently on the car, waiting her to come back after disappearing behind the gate.
Inside the building, a guy sits behind his desk, deeply immersed in his work, paying no mind to the world outside his office. It's even doubtful that in the state he's in, he knows what time it is, and not like he'd care.
Suddenly, his door is pushed open and he jumped in his seat, turning his head to see who the intruder is.
A figure entered his room, her face covered by her cap, and she's dressed in all black t-shirt, and pants. But with her long hair visible, he realized who this intruder is.
"Oh, it's you," he sighed.
"What are you doing here?"
She paid him no mind and looked around the room instead.
'So they had it renovated,' she thought as she tried to find just what did they change about this room that's once so familiar to her.
"It's midnight," she told him and he rolled his eyes.
"Ah is it? I didn't realize," he answered sarcastically, making her turn her head to look at him with raised brow that makes him clear his throat through he couldn't see it clearly.
"Which is how did you get-" Knowing what he's asking, she reached into her pants and showed a card to him that made his mouth went open and close.
"Right," he muttered.
How could he forgotten, he had given her an ID.
"How long are you going to be in the city? Maybe-"
"My schedule is packed," she sighed, and he shuts up, understanding there's nothing he could do and didn't push further.
She stood up from the sofa she'd been sitting in and placed the envelope she'd been holding on top of his desk, and pushed it his way.
"This is the information my source has given me about the banks," she told him pushing the envelope closer to him.
As he's about to reach out to open it, she suddenly place another folder on his desk. A smaller one, but with the way she's looking at him, it's just as important or even more than the big envelope.
"And this, please be careful with this."
With the way she looked at him, he gulped and nodded.
She nods back in return and backs from his desk.
"You know what to do, just wait for my instructions," she told him and finally walks out the door.
He looked at the small folder on his desk, just within his reach.
"Remind me not to get in your bad side, Elsie Harris," he sighed, looking up to the door she'd disappeared to.
The fact she had delivered it herself, he wonders just what would he find inside.
Ander jumped when the door suddenly opened.
He didn't see her coming out of the gate and wonders how she is able to show of all of the blue.
"Let's get back to the hotel. What's my schedule for tomorrow?" She asked, breaking the silence.
"An ambassador meeting with G brand just before your photo shoot, and an interview after with their media team to be included in the Z magazine which is the partner that's going to post your exclusive pictures from the photo shoot," he informed her briefly.
"What about the Grant's ball?"
"They'll be sending the details tomorrow. Which remind me, your presence for the New Year's party has been approved," he informed.
"Okay," she hummed, looking out the window.
Thoughts are running inside her mind, and she's trying to calm them down.
'It's going to be an interesting week', she couldn't help but think.
