Chapter 5

Kiera POV

I watch the interaction between Ren and my mate. I am gazing over his body. I see those muscles doing his clothes major justice. It's cute to see them care so much for each other. I came back down to eat and walked into the cutest thing. I let my eyes wonder again over his back to his butt. I think he felt my arousal as I seen him tense up. Why do I feel like I'm hiding, might as well walk in.

"Kiera" says Ren as I'm walking in from the living room to the kitchen that had a small table in it. Aunt Ren hands me a plate of chicken pesto pasta with garlic knots.

"Thank you Aunt Ren." I say and then look at Johnson and take a few chomps at it. " Mm this is amazing and I'm not just saying that because I'm hungry. My compliments to the chef." I do a kiss to the air motion and he lightened up bit.

I can feel his nervousness." Kiera are you really my mate or did Ren use some type of magic?" I'm rather hurt he thinks that. I see Ren look very hurt and angry too.

I look deep into his eyes and that for sured it for me. I can either be delicate or directly rude.

" I take the mate bond quite seriously. My Alpha farther commanded me to come with Aunt Ren. It wasn't until half over here did I find out anything about you or her. I promised my family to do this and I won't disappoint them again. You! Being my fated mate was just a coincidence. One that can be changed by you rejecting me now and I just stay your guardian" I can be direct too.

His mouth dropped and he looked at Ren and then me. " You seriously had no clue and came anyway?"

I nodded saying yes

" You basically gave up your life to spend it with me! I'm shocked and very grateful." He says with the sweetest and handsomest voice.

Lauren's POV

I think it's happening between them already. The moon goddess is quite slick in her plans. I see that she has them in her radar hopefully she blesses them with happiness.

I hear Kiera drink her water and faces me, " Well Aunt Ren I must apologize I thought you abandoned our family to travel after losing your mate. But your were close by. Have you always kept in contact with my dad?"

" So I found my mate and moved to Red Lake Pack. Where I met my best friend Jessica Johnson's mother. Your Dad liked her she was a cool person to be around. So when everything had happened your father was the one to help put me in hiding. He then helped me pull Johnson's inheritance before the Luna tried to freeze them. He has always been my only contact to the outside world. " I say sighing

I look around the room and then yawn. I stand up to go to my room when Johnson races to me to help me. " Nonsense please don't. I can still do a lot, just feeling a little tired. " I say while I begin to yawn. I was out as soon as my head hit the pillow.

Johnson's POV

I watch as Aunt Ren walks out the kitchen to her room and hear the door slam shut. I hear her hit her bed and then hard breathing telling me she's asleep already. Being left alone in the small room with Kiera was driving me and King crazy. Everytime she speaks King just responds with mate in my head. I get some courage and speak. " So it seems you know my history. What would you like to tell em about yourself?"

Kiera takes a deep breath and begins, " Well my dad is the Alpha as I said before. I'm the oldest of my father's four children. He had a vision and so named us all with the letter K." she eats a bit more. Takes another swig and then continues, " I was working for a museum and going to a normal human college. I met a human boy there and began dating him. Because of mate bond I told him I wasn't ready to be bedded by him. Taking a blow to his ego I walked in to our place one day and he was in bed with another. This same man then has me fired from the museum so he can work with his new interest. My father picked me up and was very disappointed and ashamed of me. He wasn't understanding of my ambitions we're what I thought outside the pack."

"Do you still feel that way about being the one in charge of your pack?" I ask her now nervous I may lose her to her real duties.

She yawns and decided it's time for her to head to bed. I'm surprised by her restraint is so strong. King is practically tearing at me. She looks as tho she isn't having any battle at all. Maybe she doesn't feel the bond as strongly as I do. I'll try harder then.

"What would you like for breakfast? Since your mate does cook very well!" I ask her.

Kiera walks to the sink grabbing my plate and begins washing. I go to grab her hand from the sink and immediately feel the spark. She chuckles.

"Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I honestly love it all. Surprise me.." Kiera says flirtatiously.

King took that as an invite and decided to press his luck but coming forward and pecking her lips. Our surprise is her separating her lips and forcing her tongue into my mouth. She tasted enchanting I swirled my tongue against hers. Hersing he moan immediately got me hard. I pressed my erect member against her while I spun her and placed her back against the wall. We kissed passionately and I let me hands wander on her body. She was enjoying my thumb against her n*****s. She finally pulls away from me.

"Woah...woah.. few... let's take it easy. Tomorrow we will finish the mating process for sure... oh yes for sure. Tonight I'm going to bed and taking this all in before I let you mark me." and she ran off to her room.

King: Johnson she just told us her human ex broke her heart. I'm sorry I'll restrain myself better with her.

Johnson: Your right tho King she needs to be loved in such special ways to prove to her she deserves it. Let's clean up and think what to make for breakfast.
