At around lunch time, when Ely went to the restroom, Zack finally found an opportunity to corner her.
“Whose kid is that girl?”
She gave him an awkward and a bit hesitant smile. “The boss?”
“She calls you mommy.”
“Well,” she looked to the side. How would she tell Zack? Would he understand?
“Is she yours and Mr. Hansen’s daughter?” Confusion was written all over his face. “I know that you’re the real Ely, but when did you have a daughter together?”
