Justice vs Cruelty

"Why are y'all mad now because we are the royalty? This is supposed to be a trial not a mad house. Y'all let them act out don't be mad now."

"Alora-"

"No Luna I may have no true status here but I am very disappointed in everyone here. Let's get back to the trial."

I walk back to my seat still standing tall my family watching my every move but not with anger at my out burst but with pride at me standing up for an injustice even against them. The boys came and started trying to get as much of the pie as possible out of my hair. I noticed people switching seats I don't understand why but leave them be. My mother and father take stand looking amongst the pack.

"For those who think banishment is a fitting punishment raise your hand."

About a third of them raised their hands which shocked me I thought it'd be more.

"Those who believe she should experience one of her very detailed plans to kill Alora raise your hand."

Jesus that's a bit much but of course Aries wants to be the one to carry it out. Another third raised their hands.

"The final option a quick easy execution raise your hand"

The last third raised their hands but I noticed one person didn't vote for any of the options. So I again can't stay in my lane and I speak up on it.

"John you didn't find any of these suggestions right?"

He looked at me shocked that I noticed and called him up on it but he stands to answer all the same.

"Alora, while the punishments for the crime is fair id want the same if it was my daughter written about in that manner but I can't help but think if they were that detailed I'm sure had ways to attempt this murder and hasn't -"

"Just because we didn't notice them doesn't mean-"

"Micah let him finish."

" I can't help but wonder if there's a different way to punish her.. flip the roles in a sense, have her patted down every day and under supervision but make her Alora's personal maid."

Everyone gets quiet and seems to be putting genuine thought into his suggestion. I don't know what I would even do with a personal maid. That way she could stay with her family and live long enough to find her mate and have a family. At the end of the day the verdict is up to mom unless Jessica forfeits to a worse punishment. Once again though my mom surprised me.

"Jessica you have heard the punishments for your crime and saw the votes and heard a valid fourth option. For the loyalty your parents have shown to this pack we give the final decision to you. You may pick your own fate today you do not get to ask any questions about terms or anything the only words you can speak is the punishment you choose. Do you understand?"

"Yes Luna."

"Make your choice."

The suspense was driving me nuts what if she chooses to be my maid I wouldn't know what to do with her. I instantly calmed down when I caught the scent of Jenasi it's been a month since I saw him. Aries gets excited smelling him I get up ready to go look for him when he walks in to the door. Everyone gets up to bow to him while I go running up to him. He catches me in his arms laughing and spinning me around. I'm so happy he's here he'll know what to do.

"What's going on around here sweet pea."

"Well we are actually holding a trial for Jessy right now."

"Y'all may rise."He goes up to my family to stand with them as one of the heads of the pack. Oh I forgot to mention Jenasi is the king he's my big brother my last living relative he is four years older than me and has a wonderful Mate she is currently pregnant with their second child my first nephew is a year old his name is Aloruxe. Jenasi wanted him named after me since I couldn't live in the castle with him at first and by the time everything was settled I didn't wanna leave here. I see him once a week though so it works. He's an angel wolf his Wolf literally has wings and everything. He takes me on a flight every time I see him. I walk up to him and tuck myself under his arm I've always done this if I was scared, nervous, or uncomfortable. He stands at 6' 8" so I'm the shortest here but at least he doesn't make fun of my height he calls me sweet pea because according to him that was the only baby food I would eat. He turns his head so fast to look at Jessy after hearing what the trail was about. Letting out a vicious growl I have to hold back a laugh I don't know why but anytime he's mad I still see him as a kid growling weird since he's my big brother but it's how I am. I feel him release his dominance full force onto her. Maybe I should've hoped he would've waited till tomorrow to show her might kill her. With me standing right under his arm tho I know he won't move he holds me tight as I listen to her whimper."Banishment , I choose to be banished."

She whines under his force he tensed even more at her words his eyes glowing such a bright gold from his Wolf it was almost blinding. Him and Jasper are flipped from Aries and I with us she's the blood thirsty one but with them it's Jenasi. Usually it works but when it comes to me Jasper is worse than Aries and Jenasi combined. Right at this moment he's beyond pissed. His mate wouldn't even try to save Jessy because she's just as protective of me seeing me as the little sister she's always wanted.

"No, the options they gave you are now void. I think it is time you Jessica meet your queen."

She is beyond petrified now. His mate is as sweet as me but anyone who gets on her bad side sees she is the most sadistic person on earth. They have an arrangement he handles the men who end up in their dungeon while she gets the females. All of a sudden I wished the trial went faster I pity Jessy for what she's about to go through I feel even worse because mom handed him the noted book Jessy wrote. Rose will use those notes very creatively and keep Jessy alive to live through every single one and more.
