"Alora I cannot believe-" "Y'all both know Jessica has been bothering her for a while out of jealousy-" "Maverick do, not interrupt your mother." "As I was saying I cannot believe you were walking around with your head down after you displayed such control and strength. You have always walked with your head held high. Why on earth would you put it down now?" "I should have never antagonized her into that fight it was shameful behavior." "No sweetheart you showed Jessica her place and she retaliated we saw the video" "Y'all ain't mad I got on a flight?" "Not much of a fight when you knocked her out with one hit next time just keep your head up." "Yes mom." The boys all looked at each other wondering what they missed but I feel like it's more at the fight than our parents being proud at my knock out. We all head inside I head upstairs and go to my room to take a quick shower it's Monday so the entire pack has dinner together. Wednesdays are tournaments there are activities for every age to compete. On Friday is the pack run where everyone 15 babysits the younger pups. After our first shift we can join the weekly run I'm so excited Even Aries is happy about getting to run with our pack. Tuesdays and Thursdays are family days where you stay with your family after school and work while Saturday and Sunday are for running around with friends. I know it sounds a little over the top but honestly it works and it keeps rambunctious teens like my brothers from getting into too much trouble and gives everyone time to bond keeping the pack connected and strong. I head back down stairs my dad is on the phone which only happens when he's talking to an Alpha from another pack he rather the pack just mindlink him if they need him he hates technology. He hung up the phone and immediately got wrapped into a link with someone. Mom came down stairs watching dad with me the boys came racing down the stairs I looked at them seeing Maverick hit the bottom not even a half a second before Micah and Malik who touched at the exact same time. Then they all yell Victory at the same time glare at each other and start arguing over who the winner is I shake my head at them. "I obviously won that!" "No way I'm the winner." "Come on we all know it was me." "They are as bad as pups " " Be nice Aries and I can tell you like watching them." "Cupcake who won?" "Maverick by a fourth of a second." "No way!" Micah and Malik exclaimed at the same time. Even Maverick seemed shocked at my observation he always joins the I won war but hasn't won anything in a while. Dad finally focuses' back on us shaking his head but by his smile missing from his face it's not at the boys. Which never means anything good. "What is it babe?" "We will worry about it later my love let's get to dinner." He kisses her forehead then on her knuckles after taking her hand she still blushes when he does that it's so cute. I hope my mate is as sweet as that once I find him. We all head out the door my mom is wearing a violet dress matching her wolf's eyes it goes down to her ankles and goes off her shoulders with light purple heels with her long hair curled pulled forward over her left shoulder the heels only gives her an extra inch making her as tall as my dad. My dad is wearing a black tux with an indigo undershirt to match my mom's eyes. The boys are in their tuxedos each with a different shade of blue undershirt while I'm wearing a blue dress it's light blue at the top medium blue in the middle and dark blue at the bottom. Matching all three boys in one go with black heels making me a couple inches taller with the bracelet a necklace with an indigo jewel with brown lines in it showing my entire family. It's not a formal event but we are the royalty of the pack as my parents like to say so we always dress up for the pack dinner. As we walk to the pack house mom is trying to keep the boys from wrinkling their tuxedos. I take Micah and Malik hands so they behave and look back to make sure Maverick is right behind me. I swear Micah is our next Alpha he takes over a month after Maverick shifts so they can all take their possessions at the same time Malik as the second oldest will be beta and Maverick will be the gamma. Goddess help us I laugh to myself I hope they find their mates first to keep them in check at least a little. As we walk into the dining room everyone quiets down as we grab our plates and take our seats at the big table at the front of the dinning room. "Hello everyone as you know during pack dinner is also the best time to bring up any concerns with me or my mate I do ask you wait till after we eat so we can enjoy our meals as well. Before we get started though I regret we must start with a trial. Jessica Lynn please come forward." Jessica comes to the front with tears in her eyes but holding her head high. I didn't know we were having a trail over the fight. I looked at my family in shock but they were all giving her blank faces but I could feel their anger radiating off of them. At the whole situation that happened it was even more shocking to see her parents walking her to the front. I can tell they are worried about the verdict but also ready to accept it trusting their pack to give a fair judgement. Her parents get down on one knee bowing an indication of taking some of the blame for their daughter's behavior. Why is this happening, fights happen between students all the time usually they wait for tournament day but still. I don't see why there's a trail being held. My family's status? That's hypocritical but trails don't get held when the boys get into fights. Is it because I'm the only girl? That's just sexist, the more I try to make sense of it the madder I get there is no reason to be dramatic and make it whole trial she didn't even land a hit.
