Make it Right

Jessy POV

I have no idea what to expect. I know we will be in human form since we haven’t shifted yet but it’s not to the death it’s not the fight I’m stressed about it’s about what comes after. I don’t want to spend the rest of my life in this dungeon Alarik hasn’t came to visit since this morning. Maybe he hates me how I learned to hate myself. After I learned everything the witch told me of a blood oath I could do it’s restricted to traitors and frankly that’s what I’m classified as now. I don’t know if that’ll fix anything and I have to make myself bleed and she’d have to except my blood apparently if the blood dries fast it’s accepted my only chance might be the fight.

“It’s time Jessy.”

“I’m ready.”

I fallow the witch I really need to learn her name. Down a hall that kept splitting and twisting it’d be very easy to get lost in I’m glad I didn’t run I would’ve starved by getting turned around in here.

Alora POV

I close my eyes and take a deep breath I said I wouldn’t argue so I definitely can’t back out now I can hear the crowd they are ready for a fight. I can feel the excitement in the air.

“You will come to me little one only I can help you”

I open my eyes but I don’t see anyone or smell a scent to fallow.

“Aries did you hear that?”

“Yes but I didn’t recognize the voice and I didn’t feel anyone enter our mind to link us.”

“In due time you’ll understand my love I’ve waited for years for you to hear me and now I’ll never leave your side.”

“Who are you?”

I didn’t get an answer from the mystery voice. Aries and I didn’t like it but something felt familiar about that voice.

“Come on beautiful it’s time.”

I take Jacob’s hand and fallow him out the sun is setting. The crowd is going crazy I see Jessy enter the ring on the other side there’s something different about her but I can’t tell what it is. We meet it the center of the arena I extend my hand to shake hers but once again I am surprised with a blood oath as my brother explained. When Jessy walked up to me she bit her hand to make it bleed then shook my hand just like last time the blood glowed then dried. I heard Jessy release a breath I wonder if she even realized she was holding. Alarik looked shocked but proud. I turned to my brother who looked just as shocked as the first time. But also angry.

“Can we even fight with a blood oath in place?”

“Yes as long as you don’t consider it a challenge.”

“Okay”

We get in our stances Aries wanted to make it a fight worth watching but I didn’t have the energy for all that so I gave Jessy a nod she came at me and I knocked her clean out once again. As I walked away I got lightheaded and started to wobble Jacob caught me right as I started to fall.

“I’m sorry sweetheart but this has to be before your shift.”

A bright light flashed before my eyes and I felt all my muscles tense I saw a red room it’s too dark to notice any details. Then I see dragons flying around. Ember eyes flash across my vision so does blood red ones. Then I’m by the ocean seeing mermaids swimming towards me before pitch black.

“Follow your heart and you’ll find me along with the others on your journey my beautiful tether.”

My eyes shoot open doctors are fussing over me and everyone is freaking out. I shoo the doctor out of my face.

“She’s awake!”

“Stop acting like I died!”

“You scared the s**t out of us sweet pea! What the f**k!”

“I swear I almost went into labor worrying about you!”

“Guys chill!”

Jacob comes up and puts me in his lap holding me close. He’s was shaking I rubbed his arm trying to help him calm down. I can’t move more than my wrist he was holding me so tight I could barely breathe. Everyone was asking me a million questions I didn’t even know what to do at this point. I couldn’t get a word in for the lack of air and too much going on. I sit there patiently waiting for them to take a breath.

“Are they ever gonna stop my head hurts.”

“They’re scared Aries.”

“It’s been 30 minutes! And I think we are about to pass out from taking such small breaths!”

A loud growl comes from the door it’s Alarik he rips me from Jacob’s arms which ofc resorts in a growl and a challenge from Jacob. I stand between them holding out my hands to stop them. Rose face palms and Jenasi rolls his eyes.

“You wanna be the next reason she passes out!”

“I’d never hurt her you f*cken moron!”

“She obviously was struggling to breathe!”

Jessy comes into the room and tugs on my arm trying to ask me to move. I look at the men and decide to let them be men. Jessy and I step out of the room Rose following behind us.

“Men can be too much sometimes.”

“Ain’t that the truth.”

“I know I don’t have a right to ask but are you okay?”

“I’m fine guys confused but fine.”

We hear a crash we rush to open the door and barely got out of the way as Jacob and Alarik come rolling out in a full on fist fight. They haven’t shifted but they sure are growling like they want to.”

“If y’all mess up my house I’ll loose it and y’all will be cleaning it! You better get your friends mate!”

My brother comes out trying not to laugh he grabs both boys by their shirts and starts trying to get them out side. Be fore we know it all three are in the fight. All us girls stand there shaking our heads at their foolish ness.
