Are You Crazy?

Alora’s POV

We went into the kitchen to start preparing dinner. While the boys where outside by the time they came back in we had already started making plates each man gave their lady a kiss on the cheek. Yes I’m counting myself as Jacob’s lady I can dream like everyone else okay. As we all sit down at the table everyone looks at me expectingly waiting for an answer on what the hell happened. I take a deep breath cause i don’t think I truly understand it.

“Before the fight I heard a voice Aries and I didn’t recognize it but it acted like it knew me. Then after the fight I had a vision. The voice said it had to show me before my shift. Telling me I must go on this journey and I’ll find them and him i don’t know who anyone is but apparently I’m supposed to find them all.”

“So you wanna fallow some random voice in your head on a journey that you have no idea the purpose of but that you’re supposed to find someone?”

“Not someone there’s multiple people I’m supposed to find the only way to know who or why is to go.”

“No way you are going on some goose chase Sweet Pea.”

“With all due respect brother I don’t have a choice I feel it in my bones I have to do this no matter how crazy it sounds. I have to go to the dragon village, Fae land and find a red room somewhere.”

“Alarik will you call the doctor I think we need to get her head examined for brain damage.”

“Excuse me?!”

“You want us to let you go on a treasure hunt because of a voice you’ve never heard before and flashes of pictures? There’s no other explanation you got brain damage or you’re crazy. Of all things Alora you are not that kind of crazy.”

I stair at them in disbelief Aries growling in my head at their dismissal of the whole thing. They saw me pass out yet they want to tell me I’m f*****g crazy? Oh hell no they got another thing coming. I slam my hand on the table no one even flinches except for Jessy. They think they can ignore me? I stand up and throw the table across the room with everyone’s plate. Jenasi growls deep and threatening but I know of all people he won’t hurt ME. Pointing his finger at me almost in my face.

“You will not go and no fit will change my mind Alora I am your brother first always but I am also still your king and if I deem it too dangerous then it is! You will not be leaving for this journey.”

“You must have me mistaken Jenasi I am not asking you permission you may be older and everyone else might have to bow down to you but I am NOT merrily one of your subordinates.”

We end up in a stair down Rose sighs but leaves taking Jessy with her as soon as she closes the door I see why she left. Jenasi starts pushing out his aura slowly amping it up to gauge when I’ll submit still trying not to hurt me. Jacob and Alaric have already fallen and I’d say he’s at about half strength. They are whimpering on the floor I still stand my ground. How dare he try to force me?! How dare he ignore my words?! I felt something snap inside of me for a split second I saw red then all of a sudden I was challenging him with an Aura not my own. I shouldn’t have an aura I haven’t shifted but here I am going blow for blow with one. In my shock I hear that voice again.

“I will never let anyone force your hand like that my tether especially not some mutt only me and your other mates get to see you submit.”

I see the boys starting struggling to breathe under the weight on Jenasi and me so I walked out still holding the Aura knowing he’d fallow me. He doesn’t like losing especially to his little sister. Once we are outside he clears everyone out. We both amp up our power again and again until he’s at max strength. I don’t know who’s Aura I’m using but holy s**t it’s powerful. We are both sweating from the strain.

“Damn it Alora I have never once told you no so the one time I do I expect you to listen to me.”

“If I wasn’t meant to go in this journey then I wouldn’t have had the vision Jenasi trust me not to put my self in needless danger I’m not a child anymore!”

“Would you like to end this battle mi vida?”

“Jenasi you can agree to drop this dominance battle or I can end it your choice.”

“Not till you agree to stay the f**k home.”

I guess that was all the voice needed to hear cause the aura amps up making Jenasi hit the floor with its weight Joe just a few seconds then the aura completely vanishes as does Jenasi’s. I go to make sure he’s okay I don’t care how mad I am he’s still my brother.

“If you didn’t care so much for him I would’ve crushed him like a bug for trying to force your submission.”

I ignore the voice still wondering what he meant by other mates and why they would want me to submit to them. I’m already tired of these riddles.

“I don’t care of you feel that journey is your destiny Alora you are my sister and I will not grant you permission to leave.”

Next thing I know I feel a prick in my neck I turn to see Jacob holding a syringe I start feeling drowsy oh these assholes.

“I’m sorry love it’s for your own good.”
