Chapter 19The umpire had already shouted, “Play ball!” by the time Archimedes Newton arrived at Dodger Stadium for the 2022 All-Star Game. The game was especially meaningful this year, since the Scorpions’ first, second, and third basemen, as well as their right fielder, had been selected to play.
