Dani walked in and without her knowing Victoria sealed the entrance. “You live here?” Dani asked as she walked around the house. Victoria pulls up a chair and says, “sad but yes, ever since my family’s clock tower started summoning those heartless.” Dani’s mouth gaped at the information that she just received.
“The Gizmo Tower belongs to your family?” Dani Asked. Victoria nodded and with a sad look on her face sat at the seat across from Dani. “That tower was my father’s pride and joy,” Victoria sighed, “but this town took it from him and shunned us into the darkest part of town.” Dani sat frozen in her chair as Victoria continued with her sad tale.
“My father made it for me and my mother,” Victoria continued, “it was supposed to be our home, but the townsfolk wanted it to be their landmark for people to gawk at.” Victoria shed a little tear and as the tear hit the ground Dani’s heart broke. “By any chance, do you know why the tower started summoning heartlesses? Dani asked. Victoria looked at the ground and raised her hand, “It’s because of me.”
“I just wanted people to leave my tower, that was all,” cried Victoria, “I truly didn’t want to hurt anyone. Victoria sobbed her crocodile tears, explaining that there’s a magical mirror it the tower and that’s the cause. “Why don’t you stop it?” Dani asked as she put her hand Victoria’s shoulder. “I want to, but it won’t obey me,” Victoria whined, “maybe you can help.”
Meanwhile back in town Abigale and Emmy frantically searched for Dani. “Are you sure they went this way?” Abigale angrily asked as she looked around. “Hey, don’t get mad at me, it was your job to look after her,” Emmy said defensively. After thinking it through, Abigale speculated where Dani was. “Oh, I hope I’m wrong,” Abigale worries. Abigale and Emmy run to the remotest part of town hoping that Dani was not there.
Just as they rounded the corner, they saw Dani walking out. “Thank goodness you are alright, don’t disappear on me like that,” says Abigale as she hugs Dani. “I just found out the cause of the attacks,” Dani says as she hug’s Abigale, “it’s the mirror inside the tower.” Abigale blinked twice and says, “the mirror? That can’t be, that’s what keeps the tower running, who told you that?”
“The owner of Gizmo Tower, Victoria Necro,” says Dani. Hearing that Abigale’s eyes widened, “don’t trust her, she is not safe.”Dani, with a confused look on her face asks, “what do you mean? It’s not like she meant to hurt anyone.” Abigale took a deep breath and sighed, “this is gonna take a while.”
Victoria watched them as they left, satisfied that her little scheme will work. “Now I wait, soon the chaos will begin and everything will be mine,” says Victoria as she stared at the fading light of the sky. In the distance, the clock tower rang and another round of attacks begin.
