Dani walked around the castle, exploring every hall and room. “Wow, I never been in a place as big as this,” Dani gaped as she stared at each detail on the wall. Samus chuckled, “I’m happy you approve, come, I’ll take you to my favorite spot in this whole castle. Dani followed Samus to the rose garden where he stopped under a cherry tree, with petals falling like snow. “This is where I come to think or to let off some steam,” Samus says as he sits on a bench, motioning Dani to sit next to him.

As Dani sat down, Samus says, “I bet you have a lot of questions for me?” Dani, at first, did not know which question to ask first. “Why me? Out of all the other people in this universe, why me.” Samus smiled, “you are special Dani, you just don’t know it yet.” Dani continued to ask questions and Samus continued to answer them one by one. “The keyblade is not an inanimate object, it chooses its master and this one chose you to be its master,” says Samus as he stared at the enterance of the castle.

Dani’s mind begins swell with more questions but before she can even begin to ask she hears a ringing sound. One of the many gates to the castle opened and a group of servants came out with cleaning utensils with Maya leading the way. “What is she doing?” Dani asked as she continued to watch. “She’s handing out their daily jobs for the day,” Samus says as he smiled, “you know, Maya is a keyblade master herself.” With this new info Dani spun towards him with disbelief.

“No way, really?” Dani asked with excitement, her eyes were as wide as glass plates. “Dani, with you being a new keyblade master, you are going to need training,”Samus says with a small smile. “Will Maya be my mentor?” Dani asked with hopful eyes. Samus just hung his head, “due to some personal issues, she will not be your mentor, you will go to other worlds and be trained by their resident keyblade masters, but don’t worry all of them are excellent keyblade masters and who knows you might be able to help them.” Curious, Dani asked, “what happened? Why is she so cold? Samus gave a sad smile and says, “it’s not my place to say, gain her trust and she will tell you herself.”

Maya watched Dani from a distance. “How can this child be the next keyblade master?” Maya thought. Maya and Dani made eye contact, Dani flinched and Maya continued with her duties.

As night fell upon the kingdom, Dani stood on the balcony of her room, thinking about her home. As Dani continued with her thoughts, something on the ground caught her eye.
