Kingdom Chronicles: Mayhem at Gizmo Tower

First Stop Traverse Town

After saying goodbye to King Samus, Dani and Boomer head off to Dani’s first mentor. “Alright kiddo here’s your brief rundown of Traverse Town,”says Boomer as he puts the jet on auto pilot, “Traverse Town is a small town and the crown jewel is Gizmo Tower but lately every time the bell rings, heartleless appears, so find the Traverse Town keyblade master, give her this letter, and help her solve this puzzle, her name is Abigale Townsend, good luck.”

Dani arrived at the gates to Traverse Town feeling a mixture of fear and excitement. Pushing the gate doors, Dani is greeted by a busy town full of people shopping and having a good time. Dani found herself roaming from shop to shop nearly forgetting her mission. When Dani remembered, she ran into the nearest shop, which turned out to be the neighborhood diner called The Second Slice. Upon entering, Dani was greeted by a kind hostess named Emmy, “table for one?”

“Umm, I’m actually looking for someone,” Dani stuttered , “someone by the name Abigale Townsend.” Upon hearing this Emmy’s body tensed up, she guided Dani to an empty table in the corner and says, “wait right here I’ll get back to you.” Emmy continued to work until a loud booming sound rang out from the clock tower. This sent everyone, including Emmy, into a state of panic as people ran to the doors and Emmy trying to lock the doors up.

In a flash, what was once a bustling town, turned into a ghost town in seconds. “What happened?” Dani asked with a worried look on her face. “It’s that cursed clock tower, every time, when that tower chimes heartlesses come out and destroy everything,” Emmy says frustrated. There was a sudden growl outside, realizing that she forgot to lock the front door Emmy runs towards it but was grabbed by a muscular heartless. “Help me!” Was the last thing Emmy screamed before she was carried away.

Dani stood there, frozen, trying to comprehend what just happened. “What do I do? I’m not ready for this,” Dani cried to herself as she hid in the closest corner. Dani was scared, trembling, but as she stayed in the corner, she remembered what the king said, “the keyblade chose you for a reason.” Upon remembering those words Dani gathered up her courage and started her task of saving Emmy.

Dani ran into the empty streets and was immediately greeted by a g**g of heartlesses. “Okay, Palms, let’s show them what we can do,” Dani says with an air of confidence. The heartlesses fell, one by one, to Dani’s keyblade until she came to a door with a marquee that read District 2. Dani opens the door slowly and as she entered, the first thing she sees was the clock tower looming above her.

Somewhere in Traverse Town, some one is watching Dani with evil intent. “So this is the latest keyblade master, she seems like fun,” a females voice cooed before disappearing into an ally. Dani continued to stare at the clock tower before she heard a scream coming from one of the hotels. Dani ran to the hotel expecting to find Emmy, but, instead she finds a pale skinned woman with a monocle.

The lady was being chased by a trio of heartlesses and was cornered. “Hey!” Dani yelled as she took out the heartlesses, “are you ok, mam?” On a closer look Dani can tell the lady was elegant and dainty with her sliming black dress, possibly from a wealthy family. “Oh my, thank you my dear, those horrible things jumped me when I left my room…if it wasn’t for your bravery I would surly not be standing here, again I thank you,” the lady says as she gave a little curtsy, “oh introductions, I’m Victoria Necro and you?” Dani cleared her throat and says, “I’m Dani Flore, Keyblade Master of Destiny Island.
