Abigale

“So, what brings you to Traverse Town?” Asked Victoria. Dani hesitated to answer, “just visiting some friends,” says Dani as she fidgeted. Victoria gives a coy smile, “where are you heading? I’ll escort you there,” Victoria offered. Dani shakes her head, “I think I need to head back for now.” Victoria watched Dani as she went back to the First District and once the doors closed again, Victoria disappeared into smoke with an evil smile on her face. The streets were still empty from the attacks and Dani was feeling frustrated. “Where have they taken Emmy? I need to save her,” Dani says to herself. As Dani walked by a small cottage she overheard a couple talking. “Dear, I think we can go out now,” the wife says quietly as she heads for the door. “Ok my love but stay away from the third district, I hear that’s where the heartlesses hideout is.” Upon hearing that, Dani heads to the third district. Fighting her way through more hordes of heartlesses, Dani finds that wielding her keyblade has become a little easier. “Is it me or has this keyblade become lighter?” Dani finally finds the door to the Third District in a dark alleyway between two buildings in the Second District. Before Dani can even make an attempt to open the door, the door opened on its own. When Dani entered she found herself standing on a balcony looking down at the bottom layer. “Emmy!” Dani screamed when she saw Emmy sprawled on the cold floor. Dani was mere seconds away from Emmy when a giant tail came between them and swiped Dani back. What came out was a huge heartless, much bigger then what she was fighting. The heartless was monstrous, it would’ve taken twenty clones of Dani to even reach its shoulders. The heartless had two large horns, making it look more like an angry bull; and red and blue skin. All the courage that Dani had, immediately faded the moment she saw that heartless but nonetheless she plucked up enough courage to, at least, go after Emmy. To avoid being stepped on, Dani, dodged and jumped to avoid the heavy hooves of the heartless. Finally reaching Emmy, Dani tries to shake her awake but to no avail. The heartless started to charge them,Dani managed to roll Emmy to safety leaving herself in the path of the heartless. Dani tried to summon her keyblade but wasn’t able to for her fear was taking over again. Before the heartless could reach Dani, it stopped, like it was frozen and then it turned to smoke. “So you’re the newcomer,” said a voice within the smoke, “I see I have my work cut out for me.” From the smoke, came a little a girl in a blue dress, she barely reached Dani’s eye level. “Who are you?” Dani asked as she got closer trying figure what to do next. “Well thats a rude way to ask a question,” says the little girl, “ I’m Abigale Townsend, I here you have been looking for me.” Dani stared in disbelief, the Traverse Town keyblade master is a little girl. Abigale gave a kind smile, “I know you have questions but those are going to have to be put on hold until we reach a safe place.” Abigale walks over to Emmy and with a little nudge with her foot says, “wake up Emmy, you can get back up.” Upon hearing that Emmy jumped off the ground and onto her feet, “its about time, do you know how cold the floor is?” “Wait a minute you were awake this whole time!” Dani exclaimed, “do you guys know each other?” Both Emmy and Abigale gave Dani a guilty smile and nodded. “I needed to test you, so I can see what I’m working with,” Abigale explained, “so I had my friend s***h informant to play dead.” Emmy takes an exaggerated bow, “thank you for your kindness.” Dani gave an annoyed glance at this keyblade master of Traverse Town, who looks like a child but acts like an adult. Dani, feeling a little annoyed, followed Abigale and Emmy to a small library in the middle of town. “Welcome to my my humble home, please come in and have a seat,” Abigale pointed at a small table covered in books, most of which are detective novels and mysteries. Emmy jumped onto the first comfy chair she can find, while Dani continued to look around. “You live here?”Dani asked skeptically as she flipped through a book. Abigale shakes her head, “no, technically, I live upstairs but I happen to love this library.” Abigale sits in the biggest chair and extends one of her hands, “I believe you have something for me.” Suddenly remembering the letter Boomer gave, Dani reached in her back pocket and pulled it out. “Thank you,” Abigale says with a kind smile, “please feel free to roam around and if you have any questions Emmy can help you.” Dani began to look around until she found Emmy stacking up books. “Hey Emmy, is Abigale really a keyblade master?” Abigale pretended not to hear and only smiled to herself.
