Haydn' s POV
I hid in Bella’s and my bedroom.
Aidan silently curled in my mind, not like his usual silly, high-energy behaviour.
I: I am a coward. I can’t protect her and have to send her away.
Aidan: Do you really think so?
I: I have no choice. If anything happened to Bella, I will never forgive myself.
Aidan: It is your choice to let her go, not her choice to leave.
After staying in the room for a while, I couldn’t help but walk to a corridor where I could see the exit of the palace. Logan and Waverly should have persuaded Bella to leave together with them.
I didn’t dare to show up and confront Bella. I was too afraid to look into her eyes and say that I didn’t want her to stay. I kept telling myself that this was for her good and for the baby’s good.
