Cat "Hello, I'm Cat and I'm an alcoholic," I was so happy that day, my life was great and Mickey ad not even touched me the whole day. "Hello Cat," "So first of all, kudos to the person that designed this new theme of candles during the meeting, it's cute," I was at My AA meeting after I had overdosed on Molly last summer, I realized I don't want to be my mother and thus I started attending meetings every Friday and Wednesdays. It was six pm and I was standing in front of a lot of people, my sponsor hadn't attended the meeting because she was taking care of her child. "Today has been great, Ash and Max, my friends got me a gift for no reason and I got a lively desk mate in my math class who helps me calculate, I'm so going to pass this next exams that's coming," I finished, "Thank you," I headed back to my seat as people clapped for me. Being a 19 year old has its perks, actually, being a 19year old in high school has way more s**t than being one in either gap year or Uni. I study at Hillton High School, one of the nearly best schools... Actually the only private school in our area. I consider Hillton, the area being a place that was made from what was left when God made hell, True dat, believe me, this place has problems, my parents for example; Point of correction... Parent, my mother is an addict to Coke and Ecstasy, she's dating a man named Mickey, a huge d**g lord in our area who gets a lot of money, he's rich but definitely not kind, that man hates me, last year alone, I fought off five men who claimed that they were sent by my 'father' to kill me. The main reason I'm at an AA meeting is so that I don't turn out like my mother, a type of witch, beg 'b***h' who's an addict and dates a d**g lord who is also an addict to b**m and therefore every day I enter the house I see them doing stuff I had no idea existed in Kama Sutra. It was raining, I walked outside from the halls after the meeting, since I had no umbrella, I decided to stand by the verandah and wait for the rain to stop, finally, I thought at least I have a great reason for not coming home early. It was seven o'clock, no wonder, it was as if the rainmaker, if they existed had decided to just make it rain at seven every day, every single day. There was a light hail from the rain and countless thunder rumbling through the orange clouds. I wonder why they were orange, it's not like there was any sun behind it, is there? My mind just kept filling up with thoughts and thoughts and endless thoughts, I guess that was why I loved my mind. "Cat?" I looked up when I heard someone shouting my name; He had changed, he never looked like the way he was at school, in class, his shirt was halfway buttoned and mostly untucked and his jumper was hanging from his elbows, now, he looked clean, with over torn skinny jeans and an oversized black t shirt with an oversized Minions hoodie to accompany it, his hair was ragged, unlike at school, where it was clean but in a ragged way too. "Hey Chiki," I said as I looked away, his eyes were way too cute because of how large they were. He walked up to me, and stood by. "Its seven twenty, why are you at the AA meeting?" "I... Last summer..." "Oh," He interjected. He knew it, everyone in my school knew it and with that most of my friends left me, of course Ash and Max would never. "Hey I'm on my way for some fries, want some?" he pointed a restaurant that was just near the next lane. "Okay," f**k it, I thought, if I want Mickey and my mum to know I couldn't make it, might as well get drenched for future proof. I had never really entered Casa Romanza, a club restaurant that earned its name due to the weekly romance couple contest, all age starting sixteen, the winners always got a whole year free food and the best of all, a free room for a whole day and you order anything you want. My ex-girlfriend, Andrea always wanted to participate, in the midst of it last summer, I overdosed and thus she failed the contest terribly then broke up with me while I was still in the hospital. "Here," Chiki interrupted me from my thoughts as he sat next to a window seat, the place had multiple design lights all over the place, it also had a huge disco ball hanging from the middle, making it really colorful. "What would you like to order Chiki and... Cat? Right?" Jean, a very friendly waitress came by, she knew almost every student from Hillton, last year, she befriended me when I was still on Coke and drinks. I nodded, it was a surprise that she still knew my name, of course she would, I thought again, everyone did when they all came and saw me being carried off by an ambulance. "I'll take Fries," "Me too," I said while pointing Chiki, showing Jean that I wanted fries too. It wasn't long before the rain stopped and I bid Chiki goodbye, we had been chatting and it was already 8:30 and I knew Mickey would either be f*****g the s**t out of my mother's already lifeless body or waiting for me with a g*n pointing at the door. I opened the door, there was no lights and I thought that they had fallen asleep, probably in the basement on a pile of dirty laundry that I forgot to wash before school. "Where the f**k were you?" Mickey's voice echoed through the dark living room, he switched on the light, a belt on his hand and a smoke on the other, on the table, there was a needle, possibly h****n and an open cocaine laying there with its contents all over the table, I guessed it was when I opened the door. I walked backwards and stood at the staircase, one leg on a stair and my right hand gripping on the staircase ledge. "It was raining and so I stayed in for another AA meeting because of my cold," "You think you can lie to me you f*****g Fag?"          "No way Mick..." He was walking to me, I felt a thin line of cold liquid gliding through my backbone, my cold shirt was heating up and my eyes were blurry, I knew it, here it was, my death, it decided to take me on the day I thought would just start and end well, here I come, I whispered, I am ready, death should swoop me now for I was never going to survive Mickey's mishaps of insanity. Mickey held my throat, denying me air, "You're a loser, worthless, nothing... No one will ever remember you if you ever die, so just do it already," He whispered, a drop of tear ran down my cheeks as I struggled to breath. "Your mother told me that you were an accident," That was true, I heard it as a child, my mother would always tell my dad that I was a life ruining decision, I never knew why, she could have just killed me, but I guess it was my fault, to live, all those drugs she took was to finish me and my stupid soul wanted to live. "I know," I whispered under my struggle to breath, he loosened his grip and I managed to inhale.  "You do, then why the f**k aren't you dead," "I try Mick," I said once more "Then try harder, I don't want to rot in jail for killing a minor," He let go of me, just when I thought it was over, I turned around but he gripped my shirt, it tore, I could hear the polyester cut through. "Kneel," He said as he turned me around forcefully, I came down from the staircase and knelt before him, bowing my head. "Your stupid mother left and now, you'll have to suck this d**k," He said as he opened his zip and exposed his s*x. So much for a good day...
