I wait patiently for my husband to come back up the stairs to our bedroom to spend our wedding night together. The night has been eventful, to say the least. My brother and father show up on the most special day of my life when neither of them even know me or have been in my life. Yet, here they are, trying to both tell me what I need or do not need to do about my past. My life is very much in turmoil and extremely calm at the same time. I am happier than I have ever been, yet I sit with these two people fighting over who wants what is best for me. In the end, I only trust Erick. I believe him when he says we will face this together.
