The Prophecy
INTRODUCTION
They say some connections are meant to be. For Marjore and Nathan, their paths crossed in the most unexpected way. A whispered rumor, a cryptic message, and a single glance across the room were all it took to spark a flame that would burn bright. As they navigated the ups and downs of life, they began to wonder if their meeting was more than just coincidence --- if, perhaps, it was a Prophecy.
CHAPTER ONE
Marjore stepped out of the coffee shop, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee lingering behind her. She squinted in the bright sunlight, rummaging through her bag for her sunglasses. As she put them on, her eyes landed on a tall figure standing by the corner of the street, his back turned to her and she could smell the very manly scent.
There was something about the way he stood, the way his shoulders seemed to bear the weight of the world, that caught her attention. Before she could process the thought, he turned around, and their eyes met. She felt something new. There's something in his eyes that couldn't look away.
For a fleeting moment, time seemed to stand still. Marjore felt a jolt, as if the universe had nudged her toward this stranger. His eyes, a deep shade of blue, held a hint of curiosity, and his chiseled features seemed to soften as he smiled.
The stranger's gaze lingered on hers for a moment longer before he nodded slightly and turned to walk away. Marjore watched him disappear into the crowd, wondering what had just happened.
As she continued on her way, she couldn't shake off the feeling that their encounter was more than just a coincidence.
The next day, Marjore found herself lost in thought as she worked on her latest project. Her mind kept wandering back to the stranger and their brief encounter. She couldn't explain why the memory lingered, but she couldn't shake it off either.
As she walked to a meeting, Marjore's phone buzzed with a text from her best friend, Rachel.
Rachel and Marjore are the best of friends, they meet each other during their college days and soon enough they become best friends.
"Hey, let's grab lunch today? I need some gossip!" she said.
Marjore smiled, looking forward to a break from work.
" Sure!" she happily replied, agreeing to meet Rachel at a nearby café.
At lunch, Rachel bombarded Marjore with questions about her love life. Olivia shared stories about her recent dating misadventures, and Rachel offered her usual blunt advice.
Just as they were finishing up, a familiar figure walked into the café. Marjore's heart skipped a beat as she realized it was the stranger from the day before. This time, he spotted her and smiled, walking over to their table.
"Hi," he said, his deep voice sending a shiver down Marjore"s spine. "I'm Nathan. We met yesterday outside the coffee shop."
Marjore's s cheeks flushed as she introduced herself and Rachel. Nathan presence seemed to fill the small café, and Marjore felt like she was melting into her seat while Rachel giving her theyou need to explain
and she knows that her best friend won't stop asking questions.
Rachel, ever the social butterfly, took charge of the conversation, asking Nathan about his work and interests. Marjore listened, captivated by Nathan's easy charm and sense of humor.
As they chatted, Marjore couldn't help but notice the way Liam's eyes sparkled when he laughed or the way his hair curled slightly at the nape of his neck. She felt a growing sense of connection, as if she was meant to meet him.
But what did it all mean? she doesn't know
" I need to figure it out " she said to herself
