We are in the car, going to the farmhouse where we are planning to spend the weekend. Rose is sleeping in my arms and Dan is driving. She hated being in big girl clothes and traveling but she was well behaved for most of the time. I just pull her closer to me and kiss her forehead. She is deep into her headspace and I am scared she will not want to be close to me when she comes out of it. I s*****d her really hard. Dan is glad that she has forgotten about Jared. I hope she doesn't ask for him again. We want our baby girl to ourselves.
We reach our farmhouse.
"Rose, baby girl, We are here, you want to wake up?" I ask her. She rubs her eyes and slowly opens them. She looks adorable. She yawns and cuddles me again.
"Aww, little one." I kiss her. Dan rolls his eyes.
