14 - HELPThe meeting with the prospective investor had finished so early that Angus walked home again. He had a burning desire to prove Pilcher wrong. Angus imagined the man picking up a Moving Stationery catalogue, seeing Inkdas on the front page, and realising he had been wrong to dismiss the boy. But as he took the boxes of Inkdas out of his backpack, he wondered if this was the end. He couldn’t get financing to sell to students at other schools, and he couldn’t sell the pens he did have to his fellow students, not with the risk of expulsion. He didn’t trust himself to resist the temptation of making an easy sale if he took the pens to school. Students were still approaching him sporadically and asking for Inkdas and chocolates.
