Chapter 9: Travis Finding Out His Mates Name

When I came back around I saw Travis sitting looking at me. He seemed happy that I was awake, which is probably because I am his mate. I mean why else would he care that I am awake. I don't know what he wants from me so I do not say anything. 

Well I see that you know my name my sweet girl but what is your name? Also how did you find out my name? I know Liv the doctor who was in her said she did not tell you my name. She looked at me like she was scared to answer me, like she would be punished if she said something wrong. I promise whatever you say you will not get in any trouble or get hurt. She still looked like she did not know if she should talk or not and was on the verge of crying like she did something wrong or will do something wrong. 

Um my name is Jo and nothing is wrong. I just don’t like to talk because when I do nothing good comes out of it. How I know your name lets just say the moon goddess told me about you and that I should trust you. Other than that I do not know if I should say anything more until I actually know nothing is going to happen. I still do not trust you or anyone for that point. 

Please Jo, you can talk to me. Believe in what the moon goddess told you. I am not going to hurt you and I will not let anyone else come here and hurt you. If there are people out there looking for you I will make sure that they will not get to you. “I don’t know Travis, this is not normal for me to trust anyone. It is weird to even talk to you. Please just let me get used to you being here first. Once I get used to that, maybe I will talk a little more.” Yes Jo, I will give you the time you need, just know that I am here for you and I will stay with you here. Actually it's almost time for dinner so we both need something to eat. So I will be back with some food for us. The doctor has you on a strict diet that will give you the most nutrients. I promise I will be right back and my third in command Taylor is outside the door to make sure no one will come in and hurt you. 

What the hell Travis is getting me food. I have not eaten since last week but he is offering to get me food and that I am on a strict diet to get the most nutrients. Why is he giving me food? Why is he making sure that I am safe and no one is going to hurt me. Then he has his third whatever that means standing outside to make sure that I am safe.
