Chapter 14: Exploring

Hearing Travis explain why I should talk to him about what has happened to me it gave me a bunch to think about. I know that I was the only one their but since I left are they going to look for me or go find someone new and start the whole process over. I do not want anyone else going through what I did. I want to talk to Travis but he fell asleep and I do not want to wake him up. So I thought a  walk would be good! I just hope that I do not get into trouble for walking around. So I decided to give it a shot and walk to the door and it was open. I started to walk down the hallway and Travis third Taylor I think that's what he said his name was started to run to me and talk. "Hey Jo, I am Taylor, Travis's' third and I was just wondering what you are doing?" Um what should I do? Should I talk to him and just tell him the truth, I mean that will probably be best right? 

Um yeah I was just gonna go for a walk. Travis said I can do anything I want so I thought that I could go for a walk. "Oh yeah that is completely fine but is it okay if I tag along that way I know no one will hurt you then. You won't have to talk to me, you won't even know that I am here if you want me walk behind you that is also alright. I want you to make the decision that will make you feel the most comfortable." I can't believe that he is actually giving me a choice. That he wants to make sure nothing bad happens. "Um thank you, it is okay if you walk with me and is it okay if you stand by myside that way I can see you at all times. Nothing to do with you, just what has happened to me in my past. Talking just let me decide throughout the walk. Thank you Taylor." 

I started to walk around the hallway in a big square and had no clue where to go. I know that we are in a building that I had surgery in but other than that I have no clue about anything. Maybe I should ask Taylor if he has anywhere he could show me that would be neat to see. "Um hey Taylor, I have no clue where I am at or where to go. So I was wondering if you could maybe show me around?"

Taylor: 

I actually cannot believe that I am getting Jo to talk. I know that she has been through a bunch just by the way she looks. I also know by standing by her door that she has not talked that much at all. The only other person I know that she has talked to is her mate, my alpha. We started off just walking around the hospital wing that we are in. She looks like she has no clue where she is or where to even go. Then the most shocking thing happened was she talked to me first and asked me a question on where to go. I can say that this is progress. Yeah I can show you around a little but I don't want to take you to far because you will get tired easily. We are in the recovery wing in the hospital we can go to the cafeteria and maybe get some dessert like ice cream. Sneak is some good treats that you are going to love! 

We made it down to the cafeteria and I had Jo sit down because she was breathing extremely hard and looked exhausted. "So what type of ice cream do you like Jo? The cafeteria has all different types of ice cream." "Um well I have never had ice cream before so I have no idea what flavor that I would like." What the hell how could she not know what ice cream is or what is her favorite flavor is? "Well I will get you vanilla ice cream. You just stay here and I will be back with the ice cream."

She seemed to like the ice cream that she was eating. I think she is to scared to talk again. I mean after I asked about ice cream she went all quite. "Taylor where the hell is Jo? I woke up and she is gone... I can't find her?" said Jason through mindlink.  "Hey man yeah she is here with me. She walked out of her room and started to walk. I asked if it was okay to go with her so no one would hurt her and she agreed. We are in the cafeteria but we are about to head back up. Just stay in the room that way she will know that you trust her." 

The walk back to her room was quite and was a little slower than the pace before but I think that was because she was getting tired. "Hey Jo, I just wanted to say thank you for letting me walk with you and sneak some ice cream in at the cafeteria." She just shook her head and walked back into the room.
