Mugdha was sitting in the office filing the paperwork from the recently concluded operation. She was extremely pretty and equally talented and was one of the top agents of DHS(Department of Home Security). She was in an elite division that took care of extreme threats to the nation, the team consisted of 5 members. Each team member had 100 agents working under them. Most of the operations were taken care of by those junior agents. They were junior in name only, as they were extremely strong and capable. A Five member team of junior agents could easily decimate 1000 enemies. Mugdha was so engrossed in her work that she didn't notice her colleague Priya was lingering over, Priya was also a very beautiful girl not as much as Mugdha but enough to draw attention from men wherever she went. Suddenly Mugdha realized someone near her and her reflexes immediately came into action and she pinned Priya down, what are you doing Priya said, its me! Why are you sneaking up on me like this i thought it was danger, Said Mugdha. He was third member of the team, Lokesh. he was very popular among girls and had a fun loving attitude. sorry i was talking about Mugdha and myself why are you getting piled on, Priya said somewhat irritatingly. She didn't like the free spirited playboy nature of Lokesh as she thought he did not respect girls and treat them as commodity. Lokesh had a long time crush on Mugdha, but it was not easy for him to approach her as he would do with other girls, for some reason he always felt intimidated opening up his feelings before Mugdha. Priya had an inkling about his feelings for Mugdha, that is why she felt that it was her duty to protect Mugdha from him, so she never left Mugdha alone with him. come on Priya we are colleagues why are you being like this, I also want to enjoy tonight why cant I. retorted Lokesh. are we also allowed to join in, came two tall and handsome men Abhijeet and Shubham the other members of elite team. Both were extremely talented and strong. They were the strongest in DHS. Abhijeet little more than Shubham, they could single-handedly destroy entire enemy forces. Though Mugdha was fierce fighter and extreme intellect and could defeat many in combat, but when it came to Abhijeet or Shubham she would fall short. She only had an edge over them due to her brain, she was more intelligent than other 4 team members. Hi Abhijeet chirrped Priya, she admired him secretly and felt relieved that she no longer had to tolerate that disgusting Lokesh alone. why not lets go together. Thats enough, Abhijeet said sternly, if you want to come then behave. Shubham made face mockingly behind abhijeet's back. other 3 broke out in laughter, Abhijeet also joined them. Hotel Sunrise was biggest chain of hotels in the country. only top tier public could go in there. so it is mostly visited by film stars, big businessmen and other powerful people. they would issue a membership card without which no entry was allowed. this card was given on the basis of power one exerted. Rudra Pratap Singh was the owner of this hotel. he had many businesses both legal and illegal. his hotel was the front for many illegal businesses. this was known to all law enforcement agencies but none dared to launch inquiry into this. Although Rudra was running illegal businesses but he never harmed weak and poor. His decision to keep the hotel only for rich and powerful was not to humiliate the poor. He ran many other facilities to help them. Mugdha and her team were given a separate room which was for elite of the elite. they had ordered food and drinks and light conversation was going on among them. Mugdha was totally lost. Earlier today it was on account of completing office work, now it was looking out of the window in far away night sky. what are you looking at Maam, Priya quipped, you seem completely out of character today, is there something bothering our mighty Mugdha Manikarna. Mugdha looked at Priya for sometime with all seriousness and said I am doomed, my Parents have arranged marriage for me.
