Since time immemorial, the land has witnessed the journey of a people calling themselves the Children of Israel, beginning in the deserts and valleys of Canaan—where Jacob and his sons dreamed of a land filled with security and life—continuing through their arrival in Egypt, and later the desert crossing led by Moses toward the Promised Land.
Yet, over the centuries, with each battle and skirmish, hostility took root in their psyche—not merely as a survival mechanism, but as part of their psychological and political identity. Both defeats and victories honed this mindset: attack and defense became woven into the collective consciousness, and the fear of defeat transformed into a desire for dominance.
