The Bully's Favourite

At Jilin university, the first  week of the grand new entrance of a fresh new batch of students in their first flush of youth wasn't quite pleasant. In fact the ground was quite muddy, fresh new shoes tainted with all shades of brown and pricely bags dripping with cold water. It was raining heavy for an hour or so, not the best omen for the start of a new day. But there was someone who was enjoying the current situation. It was Ryu Sera. Ryu Sera or in short, Sera. The name that lighted a heavy sense of deception from both guys and girls alike even though it had only been one week. But for girls it would be more of an envy towards her because in their eyes, she was just perfect. Perfect in the sense that she was spoiled. She never had to work to get anything done. Even though she was considered a trouble maker, she had a way of doing it oh so perfectly that she got away with it in the blink of an eye every single time. Maybe it was also because of the fact that her father was one of the elites, the Princi's best friend and that his youngest daughter was still a toddler to him.  "Hey you, bowl cut! Over here~" She gestured with her hand towards the seat in front of her. The confused  student who was very much taken by surprise scanned the whole cafeteria with his sunken eyes and then proceeded to sit down. But it was only until Sera snapped her fingers, grabbing his attention.  "Whoa! Who told you to sit? Get up skinny boy!"  The guy stood up uneasily, panicking as he gazed at the pack of wolves that were about to tear him down. This was the college's most feared bullies probably because they joined directly from the nearby school and had more of a connection with the seniors of the uni. Sera was the captain undoubtedly and her best friend, Renay was no less of one, always beside her watching all the drama unfold with a crooked smile. The pack wasn't finished. Three guys sat on her right with a sinister expression, one among whom was Sera and Renay's childhood friend Areum.  "How about he sings us a song?" Renay smiled a warm one.  "Oh don't be shy dear. We won't do anything… Right?" Even though the words meant no harm, Sera enjoyed how the freshman started shaking at his spot unable to find the perfect lyrics. But before he could let out even the slightest of a whisper, a guy pushed him aside, panting at first but then glowing with a huge grin.  "He's here! The transfer guy!!" "Who again?" Sera asked, a little confused.  "Luca! The guy i was talking about…"  Sera and Renay looked at each other with that wicked smile which they've given each other for centuries every time they were up to take a new challenge. This was going to seal that boy's fate… Or so they thought.
