I groaned as I heard a knock on the door. I rolled over to check my alarm. 5.45 am.

This had better be good. I'm not lazy, I know what responsibilities I hold, but its a Saturday. Training last night wiped the energy out of me.

In my opinion training is a bit pointless. Our island is so well protected we've never had a visit apart from the ships that bring supplies the island can't make every 4months.

Grandad insists its tradition for all the island men. We need to learn to protect our people apparently. From who I don't know.

I heard a knock on the door again.

I grumble out, 'One minute' before grabbing a clean pair of boxers from the drawer and a pair of sweats. I don't bother with a t-shirt just yet. At least I don't have to try to look good today.

I swing the door open and find none other than Mia Archer standing there. I have time to quickly check her out before she catches me staring. I think I'm ok though as I notice her eyes widen as she takes in my abs. At least training makes me look good.

Today she's wearing a simple white t-shirt and cargo pants, but damn she pulls it off. the v-neck shows her chest off nicely. Her caramel hair is pulled into a simple braid that sits on the side. She doesn't need any make up. She never listens to me when I tell her that. But because its early enough she hasn't bothered. Her naturally pink lips are looking extra kissable this morning as they are slightly widend from her taking my body in.

I smirk a little cross my arms over to make them buldge even more and lean against the door frame.

'So did you want to ask me something to have woken me up so early this morning or are you just going to stand there staring all day?' I said in a joking tone.

Her reaction was the cutest thing ever, I love to see her blush.

'Its my turn to get they crays, this morning. You said I should get you when I'm going next.'

The fresh water crayfish are so tasty. But its the hike that makes it worth it.
