  Aisha's POV   The sunlight streaming through the curtains did nothing to brighten the storm inside me.   I sat at the edge of the bed with my robe loosely tied around my waist, heart pounding in my chest, not from desire, not from joy, but from betrayal. Simon's scent still lingered on the pillows behind me, but it no longer brought the comfort it used to. My thoughts buzzed louder than a pack of bees, sharp and relentless.
