ESTRELLA POV:
Today was hectic, from waking up by 3:00 am for preparations for the wedding to watching my best friend divorce before midnight.
I never really like Harold. Even before the wedding, he always tried to hit on me but I never gave him a chance. I never knew what she liked in him. He was blond and short.
We were the same height and that annoyed me more than anything. I was happy to see her divorce at night.
Actually I already prepared divorce papers before hand, just in case 🤫.
I only expected her divorce but now her father and her ugly stepmom also divorced which was a lovely and satisfying sight for me. Her dad was the head of a law firm I work in and I admired him for that. He's like a second dad to me and I'm totally happy for him and Crystal. They both have removed nuisances from their lives.
Anyway, I'm now downstairs eating the most juicy and softest steak in the world. I always like food, i'm a huge foodie and I can proudly say that I'll choose food over anything, anytime.
Her father came down first and saw me eating. I gave an innocent smile and he just chuckled and shook his head.
"Thanks for tonight. It was as if you knew the divorce would happen and the papers were ready. I happy for that"he spoke first and I smiled.
"Yes dad. I'll do anything for Crystal happiness. I'm the best bestie in the world after all"I boasted proudly and he chuckled.
Crystal came down later talking to her uncle, I think his name was James. He had red hair and black eyes. He was her dad's youngest brother and the one who dragged that cheating bastard out of the room.
They both reached the table and she sat beside me while her uncle sat beside her dad. She looked at me with a smile.
"What?"I asked looking at her.
"Nothing... Just wondering how you still look good after eating a lot" she said and I replied proudly.
"I don't know but I'm glad about it".
She laughed and I was happy to see her smile. We continue the dinner happily with chatting and conversations.
