CLARA'S POV
Before I slipped out of consciousness, I saw Gerek being beaten to a pulp.
"Oh no..." I let out, in a low tone as my heart beat rapidly in fear. I realized that if I didn't go to Gerek, he might die. Forcing my weak body up, I walked toward him while Kevin dragged Adrien away.
"Gerek, are you okay?" I asked while holding onto my waist. I knelt by his side and seeing his bloodied face sent several shivers down my spine.
"Why do you have to do this? I shouldn't have told you anything at all. Now, look at what has happened. You acted too fast." I let out, in a pained tone as tears streamed down from my eyes.
Looking at him, his eyes were closed tightly and his hands were folded around his stomach, tightly.
