Chapter 2

I suddenly felt hands around my neck, in a choking position, It was Asher’s mate. Obviously offended that I could speak to her Alpha mate as I did, she had me in a chokehold, but I kicked her, and she fell to the floor. “You will never in your life touch me the way you just did! Do I make myself clear?” I used my Alpha voice and caught her by surprise. She nods looking frightened and confused, by how it was possible that I gave her an Alpha command. Asher was on the floor helping her up, “let’s talk about this in my office…” He said after standing and dusting her off.  “Let’s not Asher. I will be getting my things now…” with that I Left them and made my way up to the room Asher and I shared. When I entered, everything of mine was already packed. My heart sank in my chest, I went to Kai’s Room, His stuff was all in place. I called for Kieran. The stocky but strong figure came up and stood behind me. His light blue eyes sink in disappointment and he lays his hand on my shoulder, and in some way, it comforts me. I engulfed him in a hug and the tears started rolling down. Kieran wasn’t much older than I was but He was kind and sensitive, and you would say he was more my Beta than Asher’s. He was always there for me, In a big brother sort of way and he helped me in many ways. As a confidant and a friend. We grew up together. “I need to speak to Mom and Dad…” I say, he pulls away from the hug and he nods understanding. I called Benjamin and Aurora, Mom and Dad, They took the place of my mom and dad, they were my God Parents, and seen as they brought me up, I was allowed to call them that. Kieran started packing Kai’s room, after, he handed me a phone with my ‘Dads’ name on the caller ID. “Dad…” I Answer,  tears still streaming down my face. “I know, I know, I’m truly sorry my girl.  I don’t know what the Moon Goddess was thinking. No offense I know she is your grandmother, but hell, You two were meant to be… Everything happens for a reason… Why don’t you do this, right… Take some time away, why don’t you meet Asher’s Aunt at the Mystic Meadow pack, you can stay with Asher’s Cousin for a while until you are ready to come home…” “what about Kai… He is all I got…” “Baby girl I know… How about we bring him to you? Just for an extended holiday, until you figure everything out?” “Okay…” I agree. “I love you, sweetie..” He says before I say my goodbyes.  “Kieran, Please can you get the car ready, and pack the suitcases, I have to go and address the Alpha... Where is he?” “ In his office Luna…” I leave the room and go to Asher’s office, before I could knock, “Come in…” He orders. I open and enter. He sits behind the desk, looking at papers. “Permission to leave the pack grounds for Myself ‘Kylie Hallie Montego and Kai Mason Williams’ until further notice…” I say standing straight not even glancing at him. “Where do you want to go now Ky?” He asks, looking up from his desk, “I want to leave pack territory with my son Alpha, I request permission to leave…” “ Kylie, we can’t do this. I’m destined to this woman and you are basically asking me to break my mating bond with her to be with you…” “Alpha, I did not ask you to break the bond. I asked Permission for Me and My son to leave until further notice.” “And I have asked you, where Kylie? Where are you going?!” He raises his voice a little but still remains calm. I shrug. “I don’t know Alpha. I will be visiting relatives until I know what my next steps will be.” “but you will be taking my son with you, am I right?” “Yes sir, it is only temporary sir, as your new mate has arrived, the mating ceremony must commence soon and I cannot have my son around that…” He nods, “I really want to understand Ky… I love you though if that makes things better?” “It doesn’t Sir, I do know you love your son though and He will not be taken away from you, But Just as you need to move on, we have to move on too, Sir. Until further notice and then I will return, with your son.” He nods. “I understand, So… Permission Granted, I, Alpha Asher Williams grant Kylie Hallie Montego and Kai Mason Williams’ Permission to leave pack territory temporarily,  until further notice. My beta Kieran will accompany you to your destination and will be your company until you decide to return home.” “What?” I ask “Kieran will go with you."
