I collapsed with relief the moment I found myself in Archer's arms. He carried me to bed where I had the most sound sleep that I had experienced in days. Few words were said. He just let me rest and I fell asleep in his arms as he stroked my hair. When I woke the next day, Archer seemed to be working from the armchair in the corner of the room. He was peering over documents, frowning and making notes in a notebook. It was clearly an impractical set up as he was struggling to balance all of the items he had. It made me think that perhaps he hadn't wanted to leave me. If that was the case then I was glad. When he noticed I was awake, he smiled and immediately sat down the documents. "Good morning," he said as he got up and made his way to the side of my bed. "How are you feeling?" he asked
