Part 2 - Chapter 10 - The Council of Alphas (Again)
In the run up to the next challenge, things continued to be emotionally charged. It felt like the whole pack was on a hairline trigger. Duke was reporting to us that he and his guards were frequently breaking up fights. The excitement of winning the first challenge dimmed as I worried again if I was doing the right thing. Just as predicted, following my victory we were called to another meeting of the council of alphas. This wasn't surprising but what was surprising was finding Drake sitting at the table as well.
