Chapter 32 - Karma
-- Lena's POV-- When we returned to the pack, it was night. Trey explained that he had arranged for Edward to be locked in his room while he was away. Archer asked me to wait outside the door as Edward still did not know that I had been rescued. Archer walked in, Trey following behind him along with the guards that had been outside his roo. I could hear their conversation through the door. "Archer! Thank the Goddess you're back. We were all so worried for your safety when you left. I wanted to join Trey when he left to go after you or to look after the pack in his absence but he kept me here like a prisoner in my own room." He sounded nervous, like he knew that there was a chance he knew about his betrayal but he was still hopeful. "I left to find Lena Edward," Archer calmly replied.
