-Lena's POV- So this was it. Everything had built to this moment. The challenge for the pack. It was risky that Archer had put it on the line. Usually his death would mean transference of the Alpha title to his Beta Trey and so on. The fact that it was a Rogue that was attempting to challenge him only made it even more unusual. But Kieran had been insistent and unrelenting. He had intimidated the pack, killed one of our pups, attempted a seige which failed and then had attempted to use me as a bargaining chip.
