DEBAUCHED LOVE

Nov 21, 2022 He’s found her, she knows what’ll happen, what he’s about to do. She crawls into her closet, fitting her tiny, malnourished 9 year old body in the narrow space, tears run down her cheeks as she wills herself to suck in her sobs. The door to her room creaks opens, he’s inside now, she can smell the alcohol from her hiding space. He reeks, his stench an announcement of his closeness to her “Soraya baby…I…its rude to hide from me” He slurs as she hears something crash into her mirror, he’s throwing things around her room. He's angry. He'll kill her. Her body begins to shake violently as a sob she tries muffle escapes her throat alerting the man to her hideout. Everywhere goes silent, the erratic thumping of her heartbeat fills her ears. He knows where she is. He's toying with her. Making sure she is scared enough. She wraps her arms around her body, uncontrollable tears streaming down her face as she waits in anticipation for his drunken mind to find the source of the sob His footsteps draw even closer “Stupid b***h!" He shouts as he wrecks the door off the tiny closet “Found ya."
