“They’re searching for the Prince.” I overheard one of the maids I had just walked past whisper to the others in the middle of the hallway.
I turn around sharply to face them. They don’t notice how hard I am staring until one of them turns around and our eyes meet. She quickly looks away and after whispering something to the others, they all hurry down the hall and disappear from sight.
I don’t believe what I just heard because I just saw the Prince in his father’s study a while ago, Liam brought me there to discuss my father’s fate with the Alpha when I witnessed it happen.
Killian shifted, for the very first time and I was there to see it happen. His wolf is the most attractive yet intimidating creature I have ever seen, large, brown and with deep blue eyes.
