My eyelids flutter open slowly. I can’t really see where I am because everywhere is blurry and I feel so lightheaded that I can’t even stay still.
It takes me a while for my eyes to adjust to the unfamiliar surroundings, but as soon as I do, my eyes land on someone at the window.
It’s a woman and she slowly turns around to face me.
