As soon as I return from the dungeons, I attempt to head back to the apartment I now share with Stephanie but the head maid refuses to let me go because according to her, Killian insists that I stay in his room.
I have not seen him since the incident in the hall and it feels like he is intentionally avoiding me.
Quietly, I push open the door and let myself into his room, thankfully he is not in there so I sigh in relief and collapse on the bed.
I am about to drift off to sleep when I hear the bathroom door slide open, I get up sharply, just in time to see Killian step out of the bathroom, naked except for the towel on his head.
