CHAPTER FOURTEEN
I was locked out of the spirit world when I needed it the most. My night just kept getting worse.
“Lester can’t enter because his soul is stained?” Bo asked. “You ain’t exactly pure either, sis.”
CeCe lowered her sword. “But at least my soul is not stained. It’s supernatural law. I can’t change it.”
Harris shook his head. “I got a lot more trouble than what I expected today.”
I grabbed his shoulder. “I’m not done yet. I’ve got as much stake in this as you do. Don’t give up on me.”
