CHAPTER FIFTEEN Ant’ny dug his palms into his forehead, grimacing and yelling. “I can’t turn it off,” he said, tears in his eyes. “I can’t stop seeing.” I laid him down. “It’s going to be all right,” I said. “Close your eyes and take a deep breath. I’m not going to let anything happen to you.” I crossed his hands over his chest as he closed his eyes, pressed on them as he breathed in and out in a ragged cadence.
