Chapter Three

I look behind us and I see this scary looking biker as I’m about to say something he spoke first. “Your an pretty little thing and way to young to have those two beautiful kids. You most be Pop’s daughter and grandchildren he told us you were coming by today. Bear good to see you buddy here give me those so you can get those babies inside with us.” I looked at him so confused I’m not Pop’s daughter I literally just met the guy last night, and this is my first time in Texas. I also know my mom never been here before. “Excuse me but I’m not Pop’s daughter I’m really confused.” “Oh hun I know you aren’t his daughter but you and your kids mean the world to him already. I can see why now you and the kids are so sweet and polite.” Oh ok? That’s really sweet of him. Oh my goodness I forgot I’m Bella this is Teddy and last but not least this is Elizabeth and you already know Bear.” “ I’m Jared but everyone call Tank.” “Not to be rude I can see why.” I say as a chuckle as well as him. We walked towards the door we started to hear the music and laughing I smiled to myself and thought maybe we will finally be happy. Tank opened the door with a slam and a pissed off look “Yo this is Bella and her kids Teddy and Elizabeth we all know Bear they live in Pop’s place down the way they are family treat them as such or Pops will have your heads.” The lady behind the bar came towards us and hugged me I hugged her back. “Hey I’m Kelly I run the bar for these hooligans I’m also married to this big guy” as she points to Tank “ Pops called me this morning said your looking for a job have you bartended before?” “Yes I have off and on for years and I put myself through Nursing school by bartending at a strip club.” “Awe honey you will be perfect welcome to the Dark Saints club. Now let me see these babies.” As she smiles so big talking to the kids. “Oh I brought brownies and cookies for everyone to say thank you for helping and welcoming us without knowing us.” “Bella thank you honey and you are more than welcome and before I forget can you start tomorrow already 11-7 that way you can still put these babies to bed.” She smiles at me and continued playing with Teddy and Elizabeth I just stand there and smile and laughing on how cute they are. Tank comes beside me and says “ we wants kids but I couldn’t give her any we tried everything for years your really helping her boy letting her love them thank you.” I looked at him and I understand they pain of being told I couldn’t have kids and I couldn’t have Elizabeth after I had Teddy.

“Bella I’m sorry but you have a slit in your uterus you can’t have kids and if you manage to get pregnant it won’t make it.”

One year later- “I can’t believe we having a baby boy Martin I love you so much forever and always baby.” “Bella you and this baby mean the world to me I love you too so much always and forever.”

Two years later-

“Im sorry you are varicose veins in your uterus we may have to do a hysterectomy and you might not have kids ever again.” Two months later- “ we are going to do a surgery where we go to your neck and see if the one vein is larger than it should be or the size it should be and then we’re gonna go through your pelvic bone and see if there is any clotting in your iliac vein.” “ well I have good news and I have bad news the surgery went well we killed off the vein in your neck through your neck it was three times the size it should’ve been. We didn’t want to overload your system but now we will have to go in a week from now and put a stent in your area clean it’s 80% closed if we don’t fix it she may never have kids ever again or you might lose your uterus and who knows what else.” “What you have is called Pelvic Congestion Syndrome it’s actually a very common thing and it’s misdiagnosed as endometriosis and most people don’t find out they’re suffering from it until it’s too late.” “You can have another baby just gotta be watched closely.”

Present-

“I know what it’s like to be told you can have kids it’s hard both my babies are miracles. And you are so welcome I’m just glad to add to my family they just love you and Kelly.” We both smile at each other. The kids, Bear and myself head back home after hanging out with Tank and Kelly they are bipolar opposites but work so well together. Once we are home we play outside till it was time to make dinner. We go inside and I whip up some homemade pizza and homemade ice cream for dessert. The kids love this I used to make a lot of stuff like this when I was with Martin. I miss the old Martin the one I fell in love with not the cheater and drugged out guy he turned into. I shack it off just as I hear the doorbell ring and Teddy yelling for mommy to get the bells lol. I go and open the door and I shouldn’t be to surprise who I see there looking back at me. “Pops how are this evening ? Please come in.” “Bella I’m good I heard you met Tank and Kelly today they just loved you and those babies.” He bends down to Teddy’s and Elizabeth’s height and heads the two Brenda new toys. “Pops you didn’t have to get them anything they love you already.” “I know but they feel like the grand babies my son will never give me.” Well that is till he meet Bella he thought to himself with a smile as big as the Cheshire Cat. “ would like to stay for dinner I made pizza and ice cream for dessert and would love to have you over.” “ I’d love to thank you. I also heard you start tomorrow at 11 I’ll be here by 10 so we can go over everything.” “That’s sounds wonderful thank you so much again for everything it means so much to me.” As we eat we laughed and talked about everything for his son to even Martin I felt so much better getting everything out there. After we are done eating Pops says goodnight to everyone and heads out. I clean up put the dishes in dishwasher than I grab the kids to take them for their baths. After baths are done we read a story and give kisses goodnight. The next morning after breakfast and morning cleaning I put cartoons on for the kids and I get ready for work. I dress in a pair of daisy dukes and a black wife beater that show a little belly to show my belly ring off and I throw on my black and white converse on. It’s 10 and the doorbell rings and I head to answer it and no surprise it’s pops at the door ready to watch the kids. It’s not long we go over everything I make extra everything and make things for warm ups for Botha the kids Pops and Bear and I head to work. As I get there I’m like a half hour early I walk in Kelly greets me and we prepare for the day. It’s now 6 and started getting busy when someone walks in and everything goes quite. There stands the most handsome man I ever saw he was about 6 foot 2 tattoos from his neck down but all you can see is his neck and arms. He screams man who’re and dangerous someone who would be with a single mom with two kids. I need to stay away from him at all cost.

: Pelvic congestion syndrome

The narrowing can be reopened using a venous stent. Pelvic Congestion Syndrome is caused by pooling of blood in the affected individual's pelvis. This has many causes, one of which is iliac vein compression. In these cases, a stent can be deployed to restore optimal blood flow from the pelvis.
