{Renee's P.O.V}
Albus looks at Renee shocked "You really can hear the thoughts of others, I guess my inner monologue is no longer safe" I smirk smuggly before replying "So, We're mated you say? What exactly does that mean?"
Albus begins to explain "I'm not entirely sure, We're the second reporting of two Primordials that have mated. There wasn't much said in the ancient texts about how to proceed but I would assume we continue as we are but he pauses with each other"
There's a knock on the door Anna quietly asks Albus "are you decent? Renee isn't in her room and we're worried"
Albus opens the door to reveal I'm in his room. Anna looks stunned and her eyes glaze over, I can only imagine she's mind linking my father and a few minutes later, I was proven right by my father showing up and attempting to drag me from Albus' room. Albus closes the gap between my father and I.
Albus looks at James with a look of anger "I would appreciate you leaving Renee be, We're talking." James stops his pursuit for me and looks at Albus with distain "How dare you think you can stop me, she is MY daughter." Albus chuckles before responding "And she's my mate, you will not touch her." Anna gasps from the hallway as James' eye's glaze over. He quickly exits the room and drags Anna away with him.
Albus closes the door and turns to me "It appears we're in for a rough beginning my dear."

{James P.O.V}
HIS MATE? HIS MATE? MY DAUGHTER?! HOW!?
-mind link "We need to leave now before I lose my temper"-
I turn to leave Albus' room and grab Anna's arm as I walk away, I don't understand any of this. I drag Anna back to our room and slam the door behind us before I let out a blood curdling scream. Anna looks at my terrified of what's about to happen.
"We can't stop them if there is in fact a mate bond James" Anna finally huffs out. James eye's turn black with rage "We can and WE WILL. She is a child Anna, OUR CHILD. He was there for her birth and who knows how much longer he was around before than. He could be ten times her age for all we know. He has her convinced they're mates, there is no way they could be. She just finally turned 18, there is no way. Absolutely NO WAY" Anna throws her hands up in annoyance "We can't stop anything. The way she looks at him and the way he looks at her, it's very clear they're mated. You may think he's convinced her they're mates but you can't fake that look."
{Albus' P.O.V}
Dear sweet Renee I think as I memorize every detail of her face.
Renee's eye's widen "Albus, I can hear you" I smirk "I know" I close the space between us and reach for her hand, as our finger tips touch it feels as if there is a thousand volts coursing through my body. "I need you" I soak in the feeling of pure need to feel her and have her touch.
"You're the only man I've been near besides my father and a few of the guards" Renee says, looking at our hands. "I know my dear and that's fine, we can take this at what ever speed you want but first, We need to get out of here. Which brings me to my next point. What abilities have you acquired?" I look at her quizzically.
Renee pauses before admitting what she knows of herself "I have mind control to a degree, I don't have a full hold on it yet, I can clearly hear peoples most inner thoughts, I have incredible speed and amazing strength." I place my hands on my face, rubbing my eyes slightly "Is there anything else you think you may know but don't know for sure?"

{Renee's P.O.V}
I remember being roughly seven years old. Playing hide and seek with my parents, they had been looking for me for a long time, I heard them enter the pantry, the dining hall, the main ballroom, all searching for me and I muffled my giggles in my hands. I saw through the cracks in my closet that they were going to look under my bed and suddenly, I saw myself there, they saw me there but I very clearly wasn't there.. was I?
I slowly explain to Albus what happened that day and he looks at me intrigued "You know how to put an image of yourself somewhere else? like you could see yourself in third person kind of?" I shrug my shoulders "I'm not sure, I never thought it was real so I never tried again and to be honest, it kind of scared me so I was fine leaving it be" Albus pauses for second and paces a bit "If we could control that ability, we could get out of here, They'll let me leave willingly but they won't let you, so if we could get an image of yourself somewhere to distract them, We could possibly sneak out" suddenly my heart thudded in my chest, I don't know what's happening, I've never been away from my parents before. "Albus, I've never been away from them." He looks at me with such a tender look "I know, they've kept you under lock and key but we're going to take the steps to get you out of here. With me."
