She literally ran out of the elevator when it opened on her floor, nerves on high alert and the sound of her fast heartbeat too loud in her ear. Diana was quick to intercept her before she could rush to her father’s office. As much as Darren and her got along, Vicky was not exactly fond of her father’s mistress.
