She bit the edge of her lips, trying to focus on whatever Han was saying over the Video call but her mind was distracted. She shouldn’t care that her father had locked himself up in his office the entire day, not talking to anyone. The company headquarters had been in a craze, phones constantly ringing from every news outlet and Tv station, trying to get Mr. Carrington’s statement regarding the rejection by the royal family as they called it. The official statement from the Royal family was yet to be made and yet somehow they had gotten wind of the matter.
“Are you okay?” Han’s question got her attention, making her snap out of her mental frustration, quickly working up a small smile.
“What? Of course, I’m okay,”
